I'm a professional artist and greeting card designer for Blue Mountain Arts. My card designs have sold over 100,000 worldwide. I can show you how to paint, even if you're a beginner... hey, we were all beginners to start with! I can also show you how to turn your paintings into greeting cards for your family and friends. I teach in my home studio in Nashville, TN. My classes are small... from one to three students... so I can give each student personalized attention.
I love being able to express myself through art and will help you find your own, unique style. My style is simple and organic. I work with acrylics, mixed media, and watercolor. As a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, we share techniques and have fun doing it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We learn about different paints, canvases, brushes, and techniques, and start painting!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied with award-winning artists such as Edie Maney, Jan Batts, Ron Olson, and Peach McComb.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fee is $90, per lesson. When we begin, you use my supplies until we see what would work best for you. Classes are once a week and could be set up on weekends.

I was asked how I create paintings and turn my artwork into cards.

I've worked with new artists and some artists who have been painting a lot longer than I have.

Find a teacher who encourages you to work at your own level!
