PhatTrax1 Productions / General Training
About
I would say certainly my passion for music and sharing it with others. With my mom being a teacher, I also have the gift of patience to make sure you understand the concepts and how to figure things out. This teaching bug translates even with the general training I offer.
Well, I've been playing in various music roles over 30 years. In some instances, creating music. I simply love it. Music is a unique language that reaches all people.
I also enjoy teaching people general concepts to help them to be better.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I need to assess what they know already and start from there. I teach different aspects of approaching music - reading music, reading jazz charts / chords, understanding the circle of fifths, etc. Then i find relevant samples of music as assignments to implement what we've worked on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a church musician for 30 years. I attended Arts Magnet in downtown Dallas. I've played for some large events, most notably the National and Global Day of Prayer
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is $1 per minute of teaching
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with a mix of young and older students. With either, patience and understanding is golden as they embrace what I already love.
