What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A brief conversation about the desire and goals the student has in regards to taking the lessons. Everything else is customized around this,
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I served as a Beginner-Intermediate Guitar/Piano instructor for more than 2 years, at the beginning of my professional career. I have another profession that has occupied my time, but have taught freelance off and on for the last 10 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

From the moment I touched the keys I knew teaching music would be a part of my life.

Young-Old, highly trained, novice, men, women etc....
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am a huge Jon Schmidt/Piano Guys fan, they have a concert in Houston,TX coming up, can't wait.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be as patient with your teacher as you would expect them to be with you. Especially with the methods I employ, it takes time.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Write down on a piece of paper everything they love about music in general. Then, write down specific instruments, styles and songs you are wanting to master. Finally, call me:)
