All students are taught individually weekly with positive feedback as well as assistance to help the student unlock their best ability in playing music. Three performance venues are provided throughout the year for students to showcase their skills, and one assessment performance is scheduled toward the end of the year.

I have taught in the area for 16 years, but have taught for more than 20 years total. I am a member of Conroe Music Teachers Association, Texas Music Teachers Association, and Music Teachers National Association through whom I received National Certification as a Teacher of Music (NCTM) specializing in piano.

In 2015, I was awarded the Teacher of the Year award by Texas Music Teachers Association, an award bestowed on only one of over 2000 teachers each year.

Some of my students have competed in performance contests and generally earn high awards. My students take the Texas Music Teachers Association Theory test each year and usually earn a score of 90 or better.

Students study a variety of music from all eras of musical composition along with technique studies, scales, chords, arpeggios, music theory, and music history.
