Lit’l Texas Gal Quilting
About
My interest in sewing started when I was a little girl. I would take the scraps from my mother’s project and attempt to make Barbie doll clothes. My mom became a 4H leader for our county club and taught me and a group of girlfriends how to sew and cook. I just took off with it and never looked back. I made many of my clothes growing up and continued doing so until I found the quilting scene. After retiring from my day job at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, I started working part-time in a quilt shop - the rest is quilting history! I started my longarm quilting business in 2010 and work out of a home studio.
You can find me on Facebook and Instagram and on my website http://www.litltxgalquilting.com.
I love my job quilting and inspiring others to learn! I do not have credentials as such, but I have a learned skill and God has given me a gift to do what I do.
