About
Robert Garbarz is a violinist living in Denton, TX. Originally from North Carolina, he holds degrees from UNC Chapel Hill (B.M.) and UNC Greensboro (M.M.). His teachers include Richard Luby, Nicholas DiEugenio, and Fabian Lopez. While in North Carolina, he performed with several orchestras and chamber groups, and gave recitals throughout the state.
Robert is now pursuing a D.M.A. degree at the University of North Texas, in the studio of Julia Bushkova.
When not practicing or teaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauralee, watching hockey, and riding roller coasters.

I teach students of all ages and experience levels. I’ve taught students as young as 5 and as old as 50; complete beginners all the way to advanced high school students who have gone on to pursue music in college.
