I have over two decades of teaching all styles of music. I emphaize in my lessons the importance of understanding how music works and the advantage to developing good listening skills and good reading skills. Good with all levels of experience from beginners to advanced students. I am a graduate of the University of North Texas and a member of the Dallas Music Teachers Associaiton. Lessons are taught on a Steinway grand.
I am very passionate about music so seeing students achieve progress and success on the piano is always a pleasure.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
How I begin with a new student varies depending on age and prior exerience in music of that student. With young beginners I emphasize the the development of proper skills and good practice habits needed for success on the piano and in music on a more general basis. With beginning teens and adults I tailor my lessons to move the students toward both their general and more specfic goals. Lessons for new intermeiate students or advanced students are all guided by the individual needs of each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Music degree from the University of North Texas.
