Please visit my website for details: www.voiceandpianolessons.com.

I have two degrees in music and over 25 years of teaching and performance experience.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My fees are based on $50.00 an hour. I give one hour lessons, 45 minute lessons $37.50 and half hour lessons for $25.00.

The student comes once a week.

How did you get started teaching?

I was invited to to be a student teacher by my music professor to teach while I was an undergraduate. I was hooked!

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with students of all ages and different levels of experience.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I was a soloist in a concert in Georgetown at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church.

I am doing a special program for a music club in Georgetown in February.

I toured Scandinavia in a special vocal ensemble in 2016.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Meet the teacher, have a lesson, see if you communicate well, and ask the teacher what he or she thinks you need and how to get there. Look at the teacher's credentials and experience.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are your goals?

Students need a good foundation to get where they want to go. Sometimes it is a multileveled endeavor. There is an order to make the goals come about through technique, sometimes learning to read music, ear training and how all that applies to music literature.
