Welcome to the National award winning Encore School of Dance! Encore opened its doors in 1994 under the direction and ownership of Michelle Ritenour. Our school has four spacious studios with state of the art sound systems, large wall to wall mirrors and sprung floors to prevent injury to our dancers. Our school features viewing windows into all four studios along with monitors in our lobby. ESOD is over 5,000 square feet with 20 foot ceilings in two of our studios. Since 1994, over 5,000 students have taken dance classes at Encore.
ESOD offers several programs which cover full ranges for all types of students. The studios faculty consists of professional teachers who are fully qualified to provide training that will prepare those students that have the talent and desire to enter a career that is recreational or professional. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Encore School of Dance offers a wide variety of classes for children beginning at the age of three. We take pride knowing that each class is taught by working professionals in which the goal is to watch your child's imagination grow while learning correct dance technique and having fun! We realize that you or your child may not have the ambition to become a professional dancer. However, it is our belief that a well disciplined dance class will prove to be invaluable. Our recreational classes are designed to provide the education fundamentals for a dancer who is serious about learning, but does not want the added dedication of competitive dance.
