I'm a culinary Chef trained at the Art Institue of Houston. I have been a cooking Connection Coach for years at HEB Stores. I Love teaching and inspiring others to embrace the art of cooking. I currently work at a fine dining Tappas Restaurant. I also have been A Registered Nurse for 21 years so I'm able to help create menus for those with medication or health restrictions. I have a warm nature and love to laugh.
I love Creating beautiful food. and seening the joy and comfort food brings to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk with my students first to discuss skill level, likes dislikes, any medical restrictions, and genre of food the would like to learn.
I like to set a budget with student of how much they are willing to spend on food.
I also like to set goals of what we would like to achieve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Houston.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a standard Pricing. I set my pricing according to the menu sthe student and I have set. I will budget out the food and review with student before we schedule a class.
How did you get started teaching?
I sarted out at HEB as a Cooking Connection Coach.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, I have done children cooking classes as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Cochon 555: A Culinary event in support of family farmers. Educating buyers about the Haritage Pig. It is an evevt with over 100 cooks, chefs, restraunt owners, renound sommelers and barkeeps.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire a teacher you feel comfortable talking with. A person you can ask questions and feel you will get a fair answer. Remember there are no stupid questions.

What goals would I like to achieve.
what genre of food would I like to learn.
What skill level do I consider myself.
