Photography has been a passion of mine as long as i can remember. One might say that it all started with a simple point & shoot Canon given to me by my grandfather as young child. As passion as I may about photography, another passion if mine is sharing my knowledge with others and helping them grow as an artist. From film developing & dark room all the way to basic digital editing on your computer, I am here to help pass along my knowledge of capturing a moment in time forever.
What I enjoy most about photography is that I'm not only freezing a moment forever in time, but also the memory that goes along with that image that will be triggered whenever a person looks at the photo.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with new students, the very first thing I do is sinply speaking and listening to what as the student your goals are and what knowledge you may or may not already have. From here it is a simple process of taking creating a customized lesson plan to help that student reach their goal
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve spent the last 18 years as a professional freelance photographer providing photography services to clients if all walks of life. Additionally I spent 7 years working for Wolf and Ritz Camera developing photos and teaching basic photography in store and at classroom events held outside of our stores.
How did you get started teaching?
i began teaching photography and canera usage as a retail salesman at Wolf Camera in 2000 and have been providing educational critique and advisement ever since including consulting on selective public television productions.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
One piece of advise I would highly recommend when considering a teacher is looking at their experience and also listen to how they present themselves. You definitely want to make sure the teacher you select has the knowledge to help guide you to your goal.
