What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do promote practicing Yoga with an open and clear mind to bring about the valuable benefits to my students. I work with my students helping them develop a clear and focused mind for each practice by inculcating breathing exercices, mantra chanting as a part of my Yoga sessions. A major part of my Yoga session is a mix of Surya Namaskar (the ultimate Asana) and Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga Asana practice. Depedning on the level of the student, I guide them on variations to help them as per their body type and also to gear them up to achieve the asanas perfectly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor 200 Hours Level in allaince with Yoga Alliance International
How did you get started teaching?
I have loved Yoga and have been practicing it for a long time. I thooght of sharing my love for Yoga and knowlege with the beautiful souls around with the ambition of making a valuable difference to the lives of my studnets. I believe Yoga is a beautifulf journey and I would feel accompakished if I can join hands and gudie willing souls through this journey of enlightenment.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love the fact that at the end of my sessions, all my students carry a smile on their face and have a feeling of accompalishment by the end of my session. Their will and grit to try even the most difficult of Asanas and hold them while maintaing their Drishti )focus amazes me and makes me feel I am doing justice to my passion for Yoga.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do not judge yourself!
Never compare yourself with others!
Accept the limitations of your body while at the same time striving to make it better.
Believe and you will achieve!
Another important advise to anyone looking to hire a teacher is that your teacher is your guru...but never forget to listen to your own body while practiing. Undertstand the limits of your body and accept your selves where you are.

What are they looking for from Yoga?
