Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students will spend close to half their time on the ground learning the horse. We do this through grooming and equipment for both rider and horse. From there we spend the rest of the hour going through the fundementals of horsemanship, growing the relationship between horse and rider to increase rider confidence and bonding how the horse responds to the rider.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have 3 trainers and 3 different methods of teaching. Our education and training is something that never ends. We are always growing our knowledge and training skills through clinics l, workshops, shows, research and experiences, which we have over 100 years accumulated riding experience amoung the 3 of us. 1 trainer is an experienced youth rider who assists in most lessons. 1 trainer is a special needs educator and works with students who may have goals that reflect certain needs. 1 trainer teaches classic western style riding. We can customize our lessons to fit most request.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
