We provide customized online instrumental instruction and customized group music classes to families and students seeking musical and educational enrichment opportunities.
I love the challenge of connecting the interests and goals of the student to the music that we choose to study. Learning is not a one-size-fits-all activity and I love exploring the different variety of learning opportunities each week.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students have a quick interview where we cover their past music experiences and their goals and interests for their lessons with me. We then devise a plan and curriculum that will help meet their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played piano for 34 years, acheived a BA in Instrumental Music education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with the experience to teach brass, woodwinds, strings, piano and general music. I taught band and general music in the public schools of North Carolina for 11 years before moving to Texas to start Sharing the Love of Music. I have been sucessfully teaching private music lessons with Sharing the Love of Music for nearly a decade.
