I currently instruct at Southern Oaks Golf and Tennis Club in Burleson, Texas. I have been there part-time for 3 years. The greatest part of instructing is providing Mental Instruction which can be easily overlooked. Seeking highly competitive students. Helping students understand how to mentally prepare, mentally overcome setbacks, etc.
Observing students progress through their change in confidence, movement around the court, ability to communicate better.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Identify how the student learns through a series of questions. Visual or Linear student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended National Tennis Academy in Bogota Colombia, South America - When I was 16. I paid attention to how they taught, as well as what they taught.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
50 per hour. This will cover up to 4 persons on the court. This will allow for the cost to be split up. Benefit - Hitting partners. Attention to each student is less than 1 on 1.
How did you get started teaching?
I was 16. Taught summer camps for all ages.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginner to High School Varsity number 1 players. Male and Female.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Does the instructor simply feed balls and make small remarks? OR does the instructor provide they why in any changes? Do they explain the MENTAL impact of the game?
