I found out early in my photography career and studies that just because someone knows something doesn't mean they can teach it so others understand.

I began teaching photography fifteen years ago and was determined that my students would really "get it"! I like to talk with my students and figure out where they are on their knowledge journey and come alongside and be a coach.

I was fortunate to take two or three of your classes right after I bought my camera and barely knew how to turn it on! You were very helpful and your classes were great. I love it when I see the light go on in my students' heads. They have that aha moment and they know that they really understand.

I also get excited by my students' successes and sense they will be destined to be ahead of the pack.
