I have been cooking socially & professionally for over 30 years. For family, friends, guests, students & clients. I see cooking as an artistic expression and love sharing this passion. I have cooked romantic dinners for two to huge meals for 150 plus guests. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We speak over the phone first to discuss what they are looking for, then if needed we have an in person consultation. Set up time& place and let the cooking begin. For new clients I do require a deposit before meeting and travel expenses if the distance is greater than 25 miles.

$30 consult fee - if hired 50% is applied to hourly fee
$30 per hour for private lessons 4 hour minimum
for groups $25 per person plus $5 supply fee
How did you get started teaching?
i was a preschool teacher for 20 yrs and I used teaching in my classroom
this grew into classes for teens & adults
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught children from the age of 3 to adults in large and small groups as well as individuals
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just hosted a food tasting to introduce people to my new chef service it was very well received
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
look for someone that is passionate about cooking and truly loves it. Someone who cooks out of love & shares that joy with their students.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
why am I learning to cook? What type of foods do I want to cook? Do I have a good space to cook in?
