Learn Chinese With Gary

My wife and I are retired Baptist missionaries who spent almost 40 years living and working in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. I will be able to help you get a strong foundation with accurate pronunciation.

Since Chinese is a tonal language, I will do my best to help you get the proper tone with each word. We will use the phonetic alphabet which is called "pin yin" by the Chinese. If you are planning to take a trip to China, I can assist you with travel information and itineraries. If you simply want to learn how to meet and greet people while on tour, one or two sessions should be enough to accomplish your goal.
