What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After getting acquainted, I make an assessment of the skill level of the student. Once the level of the student is determined then an outline is created to help the student student achieve their learning goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
MUSIC - Over 15 years performance experience in Los Angeles, CA. Studied jazz guitar at Glendale Community College (Glendale, CA)
LANGUAGE - I am fluent in English, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish and efficient in French and Haitian Creole. Ive worked in Brazil teaching English. Studied Spanish at University of Findlay, and at various times in my life I've had to serve as an interpreter.

My price is based off of the current cost for the lesson and maybe a fee for the commute.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who not only is knowledgeable but that can adapt to your learning style.
