Violinist Gabriel Gordon studied with Eugene Drucker and Jascha Brodsky, and has performed for 35 years with many orchestras such as the American Symphony, Philomusica New York, the Santa Fe Symphony, and the New Mexico Philharmonic.
Mr. Gordon is a founding member of the Daponte String Quartet, and Trio Excelsior!, and has enjoyed performing on many Chamber Music series in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maine, New Mexico, and Utah.
In 2015, Mr. Gordon founded NEXT Ensemble – a new and unique chamber collective with a several concert series in Ogden. Gabriel has also been found freelancing in the Salt Lake City area, performing with many ensembles including Ballet West, and is currently the Resident Artist with the Salty Cricket Composers Collective. Mr. Gordon is also a violinist with Chamber Orchestra Ogden, and has served as concertmaster.
Passing on what I have learned is not just a job, it is something I am passionate about. I work with the whole person to help create a lifelong love of music, as well as a great technique to accomplish goals at any level.
