About

I'm going to start advertising for myself on KSL because I don't want to pay for sending out quotes. Feel free to actually call or text me. That is my real cell. I listed my number for a reason. I'm glad you're all here. I'm thankful for the people that have reached out for a quote. I am working on posting some of my pictures as soon as this weekend. This website has given me exposure enough to motivate me to reach out to my community in a more local setting. Please allow me some time to put together a quote for all to see. I am putting together 6-8 week lesson plans based on mediums that I'm familiar with like watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, and oil pastel.

I enjoy my time getting lost in my R-mode time. There is a shift in the brain that allows you to see the images in basic shapes and proportions and followed by the details. Once you learn how these different approaches help you understand what you see and transfer that to a canvas, you have achieved the ultimate goal! People want to see progress instantly these days, and I believe it just takes time and discipline.

With me, you'll see images from a professional artist view. You'll start to understand how you can transfer your images to canvas and increase your ability to sketch, shade, illustrate and create things from your own imagination. Using things as references is key to your success. Only you can truly believe in yourself and unlock your potential as a blooming artist.

Frequently asked questions

I have them do basic L-mode and switch them to R-mode sketching, paint right away, and let them see where their starting point is. They have to see their own starting point and understand they are on their way up with their skills. Practice makes you better. Lessons are for teaching you what to do in your spare time or time between lessons. Every lesson should be treated with respect to the time you put into the practice.

My education is heavily in the fine arts. My degree is a mix of dance, art, photography and exercise science. My black and white photography class was my first love. I loved my college art class with a professor that pushed me to do things that were outside my comfort zone and helped me understand perspective and depth better than when I was trying to do it on my own. My training for becoming a teacher started back in 2012 for a professional art studio. There I taught children as young as 3 and as old as 12. I also took life drawing classes after I graduated to further increase my skills. I have a sketchbook challenge right now for myself that will help me just draw the world around me right now. I hope you do the same!
