About
I focus on meeting students where they are at, helping you move towards your personal goals, and developing a curriculum that is suited for your specific needs.
Acting is about connecting and I enjoy seeing students progress in their abilities to connect with themselves, their characters, and their scene partners.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to set up an orientation, either over the phone or over zoom, where we will discuss what your previous acting experience (if any), what your personal goals are, and how I can help you achieve those goals. We'll then move to weekly lessons where I will teach you acting principles to help you become a stronger, more confident, and more consistent actor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Theater with an acting emphasis. I specialize in teaching Stanislavski's method and am also familiar with Meisner, Suzuki, Laban, viewpointing, and several other methodologies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $40 for a 60 minute lesson; I also provide discounts for an 8-lesson package.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching because I love working with other actors, and I especially love seeing the confidence and growth that happens when breaking through barriers or achieving goals that been problematic or difficult in the past.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with children as young as 8 and adults as mature as 65; men, women, and nonbinary actors, of different sexualities and cultures, and especially love working with BIPOC actors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that will help you meet your goals and will work with you to improve the skills you want to improve.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What kind of roles are you looking for, what companies/productions do you want to be cast in, and what level of commitment are you wanting to dedicate to honing your craft?
