I have a full piano studio with very few openings. We perform 3 times each year (2 solo recitals and 1 duet recital). We also have 2 evaluations in conjunction with the solo recitals, where each student receives comments from a judge. My students are always well-prepared and are confident in their performances. (Yes, they still get nervous, but they do great!) *_*
I love seeing my students light up as they progress and can see how much they're improving!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student receives 8 assignments, on their level. Half are technique, the other four are within method books and recital pieces.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through UMTA/MTNA (Music Teachers National Association). I am heavily involved in Utah's Association and am on the Executive Board of UMTA. There are many beneficial things to this association. You can check out their website at https://utahmta.org/cgi-bin/umta.cgi
