About this pro

Hi there! My name is Jasmin. I have been teaching private piano lessons for 15 years, and I love it! I work with all ages and levels. I cover everything from sight reading, theory, posture and technique, to composition, ear training,  etiquette, and musicality! My students get a thorough,  well rounded training, and gain a very solid foundation in music. I also have experience working with children and adults with disabilities, such as ADHD and Autism.

Also, I am new to Lesson.com. If you would like to see more ratings and reviews, you can also look at my profile on Thumbtack.

Connecting with the students and their families, and watching my students learn and grow!

She takes her time and help you understand.

She's patient, has a program but regularly let the student bring one or two pieces they would like to learn.,

FAQs

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes! It all depends on what you are wanting and looking for! I have excellent packages for monthly flat rate tuition, as well as one time/single lesson rates. They vary based on length, frequency, and which type of package you want to go with! Ask me for details

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages, levels, and abilities!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

We just had a group party for all of my young beginners that passed off their first set of Step by Step books! It was so much fun to see them playing with the CD's and showing off their new skills to each other, while celebrating their common accomplishments, and relating to each other!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for a teacher who cares about hand posture and technic. Learning to play the piano takes dedication and persistence. Communicate what your goals and expectations are. A good teacher will work with you where you're at in your training, with your lifestyle, and will be encouraging. :)

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Be honest and upfront with your teacher about whether or not you are just trying this out, or are planning to make a commitment for the long haul. If they are good, they will have a couple different programs and approaches to address each scenario :)
