About
I love seeing my students suceed in their goals. I am happy to train you and mentor you through the basics as well as leading you in a path to your own business if that is what you desire.
Photography is a life long passion for me to document the life around me, to leave a legacy of truth, and to remember the moments we have shared with passion, knowing that every memory is sacred. I enjoy showing the world from a perspective that shows its beauty, remembering that it isn't just about my point of view but photography is an artform. Photography is science and art perfectly in harmony and it is always exciting to solve the science to make the art.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My clients and I usually have a phono cosultation about what they are looking for and I develop a lesson plan centered around what they would like to acheive from the classes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in Directing for Cinematography and I have worked since 2008 as a professional photographer in America and in parts of Europe. I take time every year to learn more about my field of expertise and stay active in my career year round even if it is just volunteer work.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing for educational training is $1 a min.
The average student needs 3 hours of training with me to begin to work well on their own. If they would like more classes I am always happy to provide them.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching students who wanted to learn photography for competition to ear scholarships for college. Many of my clients that I take photos for, are often very receptive to my process with them and their families and request classes as well.

I have worked with students ranging in ages of 12 to 50 years of age. Clients pursining fine art, as well as just to take better photos of their children, including using an iPhone.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The last even I worked was my best friend's wedding. I photographed them with love. I was so excited for her to finally find the man of her dreams and to be apart of helping that day be commemorated was truly wonderful.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say, call them up or email them and make sure you get a feel about them that you are comfortable with. If they don't seem easy to talk to, they might not be easy to learn from.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Specifically for photography, a student should ask do I need my own camera?
Do I need any other equipment to take the class?
Does the instructor have prior teaching experience, if so, in what type of enviroment? Class room, lecture, one-on-one, workshops, etc?
