I joined a string quartet that Dan recently started up. He was great at bringing the group together with his skill, knowledge and musicality. He has a lot of experience playing in different kinds of ensembles over many years. I would highly recommend Dan as a violin teacher!

Mr. Franssell is a kind a patient teacher. He enjoys music very much and he is good at instilling his enjoyment for music in others. Some teachers are good at teaching just the mechanics of instruments, but Mr. Franssell teaches both the mechanics as well as artistic expression. I recommend him highly.

I am an adult student with a desire to improve my technique. Dan is thoughtful and patient, willing to adapt his teaching to the students level. He brings the experience of a long musical career to his teaching. One of the best and most pleasant professors I have worked with.
