About
My teaching approach:
I began learing guitar by ear at the age of 14. I played in my first band at 17 and have been performing for 40 years, 20 of which were on the road full time. I began teaching in 1986 and have had the priviledge of working with many talented students over the years. I have a 900 sq. ft., 24 track studio with full PA system. Teaching tools include a drum machine, cd's/cassette tapes to practice with, tablature, hands on instruction. I have 2 Marshall MG30 amps in the teaching room and a Tascam GA30CD for altering tempo.
My influences are:
Sonny Landreth, Jimi Hendrix, Warren Hanes, Eric Clapton, Mike Campbell, Gary Moore and Peter Stroud.
