About
I have been working as a coach and director in the Richmond area for many years. Rather than boasting of my accomplishments In teaching acting and directing, I suggest you check out my website: keriwormald.com so you can see the quality of my work.
I am a storyteller and theatre maker. I love the process of figuring out the best way to tell a story. I find it more satisfying than the finished product. I enjoy working one on one as a coach and with casts. Which do I prefer? Working with young people on their craft or working professionally in the theater? It's a tossup, But working with actors probably has the edge over directing. Everyone I've ever worked with is like a great novel, and I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important thing is to get a sense of the students ultimate goals while also getting to know him/her/them, so I can plan my attack. Since no one can do their best work without being relaxed, that is also an important first step – creating a relaxed environment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MFA in directing from VCU, and an undergraduate degree in theater in broadcasting from JMU. I have had the opportunity to work in the UK at the Edinburgh Fringe festival for several years. I also did a post graduate theater course at the University of Lancaster. In 2006, I was a SURDNA Fellow which gave me the opportunity to work with several internationally-known artists in Aberystwyth, Wales, and I have had some training in Meisner technique and Rasaboxes with excellent instructors. I have been a professional Director for nearly 30 years.
