About
Treasure Yoga and Traditional Healing specializes in Yoga for Healing, making herbal remedies and utilizing Reiki as needed to create true transformation for those who are open to it and practice regularly. Our classes consist of breath work, meditation, asana (poses) and energy work depending on the class you are taking. I have a 500hr Yoga Instructor, Reiki level 2, and breastfeeding peer counseling certification; as a Native American I have studied plant remedies with my elders for many years. Allow yourself to connect and grow with Treasure Yoga and Traditional Healing and you will see why we are so much more then just another yoga class. I look forward to meeting you and have a wonderful day. See our Facebook page at Treasure Yoga and Traditional Healing or email [email protected] for more details
I most enjoy giving people a relaxing, healing experience that can stay with them throughout their day. I have found much health and healing through yoga, breath work, meditation and Reiki. So I love to fuse them into one class that leaves my clients feeling strengthened, energized, refreshed and open.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in 2011 by teaching family and in 2015 I was subbing a few classes here and there for my regular Yoga teacher when unavailable. I very much enjoyed this and began to study Yoga history/philosophy and in 2019 I received my 500hr YT certificate.
I have also taught HIIT, Cardio/Strength and core classes at the Y since 7/2019.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with yogis and fitness clients in all different stages from beginner, immediate to advanced and I very much enjoy teaching all level classes as well as one on one. I have also worked with pregnant women, moms and their newborns, kids all ages as well as elders. I look forward to building my clientele and expanding my offerings.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I put on a cold and flu remedy workshop where we spent 60 mins discussing my Tribal traditional harvest/gathering methods and made Elderberry cough syrup, chest vapor rub and an herbal tea all to prevent and treat cold and flu symptoms. After our hour of herbal remedies we did 30 mins of yoga to relieve cold and flu symptoms. This event was a wonderful way to share my Tribal learnings and get to know new people with smililar interests.
