I am a young, enthusiastic golf instructor who loves what he does. I teach at the PGA Tour Academy in St. Augustine. My goal is to make golf more fun and help you meet your goals. We establish a plan and get you on the right track. I have been teaching full time for over 5 years with great experience. In my 5 years I have given over 4500 lessons and have worked with juniors, seniors, ladies, players and high handicappers where I've had success with everyone.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Establish a goal and make a plan to get there. We establish a baseline in the first lesson and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played professional golf for 4 years, worked under the tutleidge of a plane truth golf instructor. I am currently working on becoming a class A PGA member. I worked at Gregg Rogers Golf Performance in Bellevue for 2 and a half years and learned how technology goes into teaching. Now I have a style that incorporates swing philosophies with technology.

How did you get started teaching?
I developed a passion for learning the swing while playing full time, and as I developed relationships with clients, I found it fun and fulfilling to see them succeed and get better.
What types of students have you worked with?
All different types: tournament players, seniors, juniors, low handicappers, high handicappers all the way to students who have disabilities and limitations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my client played in their club championship. They have only been playing for 2 years and they went out and shot 77-79 to win their perspective division by 3!
I also teach a junior who is 5 years old, his dad took him to play his first 9 holes in Hawaii and he hit a 91 yard drive and a 87 yard drive and lost no golf balls.... His dad lost a bunch. He has so much fun it is awesome to see!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk to the instructor, see if they communicate well to how you learn and establish a plan on how to achieve your goal.
