First and foremost thank you Kurt! I took up golf 4.5 years ago and it was probably my the toughest sport for me to pick up. Kurts philosophies and techniques are simplified and very effective . He taught me full swing , short game and how to putt... In four years I went from a 28 to a 10 handicap and I can't thank him enough! He also has taught my 12yr old girl and girlfriend and they have benifitted greatly as well. Do your self a favor and visit Kurt Valley!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Establish a goal and make a plan to get there.  We establish a baseline in the first lesson and go from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I played professional golf for 4 years, worked under the tutleidge of a plane truth golf instructor.  I am currently working on becoming a class A PGA member. I worked at Gregg Rogers Golf Performance in Bellevue for 2 and a half years and learned how technology goes into teaching. Now I have a style that incorporates swing philosophies with technology.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I developed a passion for learning the swing while playing full time, and as I developed relationships with clients, I found it fun and fulfilling to see them succeed and get better.

All different types: tournament players, seniors,  juniors, low handicappers, high handicappers all the way to students who have disabilities and limitations.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One of my client played in their club championship. They have only been playing for 2 years and they went out and shot 77-79 to win their perspective division by 3!

I also teach a junior who is 5 years old, his dad took him to play his first 9 holes in Hawaii and he hit a 91 yard drive and a 87 yard drive and lost no golf balls.... His dad lost a bunch. He has so much fun it is awesome to see!
