What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We look at your goals - what type of photography you'd like to learn, how long have you been doing photography, and what are some subjects that you like to photograph.
We make a lesson plan that is customized for you to learn what you need and practice your craft.
We work on assignments and skills and also image critique and post production, so you can learn the steps and workflow to create amazing images.
We build your portfolio of photographs and put together a body of work that you are proud of and cannot wait to show.

Certified Professional Photographer (PPA)
FAA part 107 certified UAS remote pilot
20+ years of commercial photography experience
Sports photography experience at many high profile events, world championships, Olympics, national and international competitions

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching by doing photography workshops about fashion or beauty photography, sports photography, and architectural/industrial photography. Later I realized that I like mentoring and one-on-one teaching as well because you can guide a student through their own unique creative process.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners and hobbyists, and also with advanced level students who had already taken steps to build a photography business.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a photographer that shows the kind of work, images, an style that you would like to see in your own photographs.
