Valerie Collymore is an award-winning, full-time, productive, professional fine artist, and sought-after fine art instructor. Using skills from her former career as a medical doctor, Valerie condenses a great deal of key information into easily assimilated units, simplifies complex concepts and practices, and effectively communicates this information. This instructor spent her formative years in the south of France, and regularly visits sites where key French Impressionist masters painted and lived. Valerie is passionate about traditional French Impressionism, painting in this style, teaching it, and building community around it. Creating a highly supportive environment, which favors joyful productivity and experimentation, is a hallmark of this instructor’s teaching style.
