About
"Our extensive knowledge and passion for all aspects of performance allow us to offer expertise to beginners as well as to veterans."
EPT's two founders, Heidi Heimarck and Liam Cole each have 25+ years of experience in producing, directing, writing and acting in the theater. Ms. Heimarck and Mr. Cole started a theater company on Capitol Hill in Seattle that was successful for over 10 years. Since moving to Everett, Liam freelances as a director, teaches at Red Curtain Foundation for the Arts and is writing books about stagecraft. Heidi freelances as an editor, playwright and producer of new work. From http://www.heidiheimarck.com "I spent several seasons touring the Midwest with Illusion Theater (Mpls), and the Northwest with Working Relations (Seattle) in plays that confront discriminatory and power issues in professional and personal environments. I understand the complexity of these issues, and am committed to an inclusive life philosophy and work environment."
Recently Heidi & Liam decided to combine their talents into a new theater for Everett, WA, that focuses on contemporary work. Announcing Everett Playwrights Theater, or EPT for short.

If I write a new play, my point of view may be profoundly modified. I may be obliged to contradict myself and I may no longer know whether I still think what I think. - Eugene Ionesco
