What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin each lesson/lesson package with a conversation with the student about aspirations and goals they would like to get out of the lesson.Then I'll will start by having my students warm up and create some baseline numbers on the Trackman to get an idea of what i would like to work on with the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Class A PGA Professional with 7 years experice giving lessons and clinics to all age groups with Trackman 4 training.

How did you get started teaching?
I went to the University of Wisconsin Stout and studied Golf Enterprise Managment, after graduating from school I move down to Kansas and worked at 3 different facilities and enrolled in the PGA Program to become a certified PGA Professional. I started teaching in 2012. Most recently I was at The Kansas City County Club in Kansas, and then Dretzka Park Golf Course before landing here at Fairways of Woodside
What types of students have you worked with?
Ive worked with everyone from some of our older ladies members to the juniors that are a part on our junior program. Ladies trying to take lessons to impress the co workers, to men looking to compete in there club championships! Thats whats great about this game, you never know what your going to get!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having one of our students win the local and regional Drive, Chip and Putt championship.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Not every teacher teaches the same way. Look for that instructor that you connect with and that you can see reaching your goals with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Sit and write down some realistic goals that you would like to complete this season. keep them attainable!
