About
I am an experienced and talented Head Golf Professional, presently employed with Hartford Golf Club in Hartford, WI. I work hard each day to improve myself and become a better golf professional. The title of PGA Golf Professional is not given out lightly and I plan to continue representing the PGA in the best way I know how.
My outgoing and friendly personality allows me to interact with our staff, club members, and guests the enables them to feel comfortable and relaxed. Whether I am teaching or playing, my love for the game of golf is evident in my daily life and helps those I am working with to become more enthusiastic to work towards a common goal.
Recently, I was named the 2020 PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the Wisconsin Section.
I enjoy seeing golfers improve their game and have more fun. My biggest accomplishments are when my student beat their personal records or just tell me they have more fun during their rounds.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The pre-lesson interview process is very important for myself, as a golf professional, to understand your skill set and experience before we jump into hitting golf balls. Depending on the student's experience, will determine where we start in the process of learning the golf swing. The golf swing is a complicated motion that is made look easy by the professionals on TV. It is important to start with the basics of the golf swing with your Grip, Alignment, Posture, & Stance (GAPS). Once you have your GAPS correct and comfortable we move into a basic three piece swing process to build up your skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching golf lessons since 2012 with a wide range of students from beginners and juniors to low handicap players. I was elected to PGA membership in 2016 and was awarded Wisconsin's Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 2020.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lesson pricing is broken down by 30 min sessions. Students are welcome to book back to back lessons if they would like more consecutive time.
$40 per half hour
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with student of all types! Juniors, Teens, Adults, Seniors, Beginners, Intermediates, Low Handicaps and Professionals. You name it and I have most likely taught someone who falls into that category.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Experience and Personality are very important. You would like an instructor that knows the golf swing but is not very robotic in their delivery. Golf is a game, it is supposed to be fun. It is your instuctor's job to teach you the golf swing as well as make sure you are having a good time doing it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals and are they realistic for YOU? If you go to your instructor and tell them you would like to go from shooting 90 to shooting in the 70s by the end of the summer but you have no time to practice, that is unrealisitic. If you have the same goal but can commit 3-5 hours of dedicated practice on top of your lessons, it becomes more reasonable.
