I am a UC Berkeley student with 12+ years of personal music training and 3+ years of music teaching experience. I have successfully guided students in piano, singing, sight reading, and music theory for the MTAC Certificate of Merit Exams, ABRSM Exams, and AP Music Theory Exam. As a Bay Area native, I am knowledgable of local music competitions and performance opportunities suitable for you or your student. Kashmira began studying the violin at age four and was a member of the Hawaii Youth Symphony while growing up. She obtained her B.M. in Violin Performance from the University of Colorado–Boulder under Charles Wetherbee. At CU, Kashmira participated in a Music and Performing Arts summer program in Florence, Italy where she studied with violinist Alberto Bologni, renowned performer, teacher and co-founder of the Florentia Consort Associazione Culturale.
