Dr. Buchenholz, currently Professor of Music at Columbia University and Hunter College, recently served as Special Projects Coordinator for The Leonard Bernstein Office Inc. and as a Visiting Lecturer at the National University of Ireland Maynooth. Ive performed in venues all over New york City from Arlenes Grocery to the Morgan Library,Frick Collection, and Carnegie Hall. The curriculum is interest based, following the students curiosity, together we figure out what to learn. I Bring my 20 years of experience and knowledge of what is essential to being a proficient guitarist, and I will suggest what to learn at first, but I let the students pick the songs, and what it is they really want to focus on.
