I am in my early 50's with no real musical experience and am now about 6 months into these lessons and have enjoyed the process very much. I'm not progressing terribly quickly which is entirely my fault due to it being difficult to make time to practice enough. It's unlikely I will ever become a rock star so the most important aspect of taking lessons for me is to enjoy the process and have fun.
