I offer 20 years experience teaching piano, music theory and composition to young beginners, adults, intermediate and advanced students. I have a graduate degree from USC in music composition, specifically writing music for films and television.

I teach classical and popular piano to students of all ages. I have 45 years of teaching experience at the private and college level and have worked with students from beginning through advanced levels. I love a variety of students in my studio and appreciate the challenge that each student brings. I enjoy the “pedagogy” or art of teaching and have studied this in my masters and doctoral work. I also bring music theory and technique into each lesson as students learn more than just how to play the piano.
