Pat Balder is an exceptional singing teacher. His training and background see him combining the best parts of traditional and contemporary vocal practice. He has built his own approach, merging parts of other disciplines such as SLS, Estil, Opera and more. Even online he has been able to work bringing my voice to a level at which I am thrilled - I've found the voice I always wanted. Pat has a great ear for hearing the parts of your voice that need refining, and even online he notices subtle physical nuances. He's also an amazing singer who can do almost any style. And he's a kind-hearted, charming guy. I couldn't recommend him more!

The teacher is great at watching and listening to my playing. He excels at correcting my playing in a manner that I understand and doesn't make me feel like I shouldn't be playing guitar. I've been taking lessons with Mike for a few years now and I'm very happy with the progress I've made. Mike is a great teacher, he's very knowledgeable and talented, and he does a really good job of incorporating my questions and interest into our lessons. He gives me good constructive feedback and always has good suggestions on how to improve. Mike has a lot of real world experience playing in bands and recording and producing music which he also works into our lessons and I find that to be incredibly valuable as well. If you're looking for a guitar teacher I would highly recommend Mike.
