Students have learned how to paint landscapes, portraits, still-lifes, and abstracts professionally within a matter of weeks. Lessons are free-form and each student is encouraged to develop in a way that suits their own style. Students are taught how to use color, and painting tools, as well as techniques.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What is the student's interests. For example, does he or she like music or sports or nature, etc.
Find out what medium he or she wants to use.
Advise the student on the types of tools and otherwise (paints) needed for painting within the student's budget.
The student chooses a subject either a two dimensional subject (a picture) or a three dimensional subject ( a still life)
The student can choose to do studies first or can approach the canvas by doing a simple lay-out.
The student then is encouraged to begin to paint as the instructor advises on technique and certain other aspects for constructing a painting.
