What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Inititally watching how they use their camera and how they determing settings and lens selection
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a trainer in the Air Force and when I became a photographer, I used that skill set to let me be a better mentor as a photographer
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have no standard pricing method. But a reasonable starting point is $50 per hour with a two hour minimum
How did you get started teaching?
I had numerous people that follow me ask if I could help them become more proficient in shooting manual versus automatic
What types of students have you worked with?
All types but generally those with some minimal experience
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Asssted a new photographer with learning studio lighting and how the use of a flash meter would allow them to make their set ups quicker and repeatable
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Look at their portfolio. If the photos you see make you want to say..."I wish I shot that", then that's your teacher
