About this pro

Welcome! I have been involved with the game of baseball my whole life, and love it. I have been a head coach and teacher for over 20 years and have been fortunate to win multiple championships over those years...and seen many of those players go on to play in college and the pros. I teach all aspects of baseball including hitting, fielding, and pitching. I have a field and equipment so students come to me. I look forward to helping you improve your baseball skills!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to evaluate player's current age, fitness, and baseball talent levels and identify and area of focus for improvement. From there we identify goals and a plan for success!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a teaching degree, and have been coaching baseball at multiple age levels for over 20 years

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My standard rate is $45 which includes an hour and a half of warm ups, agility, stretching, form running, throwing and specific skills practice depending on the area of focus.

How did you get started teaching?

I have worked with many players over my career to help them become more complete ball players on and off the field, it all starts with an energetic good attitude and a desire to work hard at improving.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked mainly with players in the 8 to 18 age range, who play little league, club, junior high, and high school baseball.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am lucky enough to be coming off back-to back-to-back championships as a junior high head coach (3 straight undefeated seasons)

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I am a dad of a young player,  as well as a teacher and a coach, so I see sports from all angles and know what it takes to make a great ball player!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Think about what your goal is with baseball lessons. Baseball has many facets including, pitching, hitting, fielding, throwing, speed on the base paths, etc. what is the one area you feel you need the most improvement in? That's where we get started. Your path to being a complete player starts here! I look forward to working with you!
