Mack’s Softball Instruction
About
I have always had a passion for softball! I have been playing for a little over 16 years now and am still playing in college! I'm a pitcher and a 1st baseman but also have seen work in the outfield! Hitting is my favorite part of the game and I can't wait to pass on my love for this sport to the softball community.
This game teaches young athletes so many life skills and who'll it has been frustrating at times the rewarding feeling of digging myself out of a slump or correcting my motion after struggling with a pitch is the best feeling on earth.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the area of the field I'm working on with student, whether it's fielding, pitching, hitting etc. I'll always start with the foundation a student already has. There is no right way to do anything in softball it's all about what mechanics work for the player and then fine tuning those mechanics to bring out ones advantages. I aim to elivate confidence and skill in players to further themselves in this rewarding sport.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at a baseball camp for the San Francisco giants running drills, executing game like scenarios all while providing helpful feedback. I have also provided pitching lessons to a few students in previous summers working on fundamentals I have a wide array of different pitches at my disposal to teach students that include a curveball, change up, knuckle ball, screwball and drop ball. I know the game like the back of my hand and am looking to further my coaching abilities while furthering the future of the softball community
