About
The diversity of my education in two Universities (in Fine Art in Russia and Fashion Design in Hungary) allows me to take a unique approach in teaching art. I have lived, studied, worked and taught throughout Europe, where Art is essential part of everyday life. I came to the USA in 2006 and have been teaching various art subjects from elementary through College levels. I successfully taught students of different ages and various backgrounds. There were wounded veterans, people in wheelchairs, students with special needs, very young, retired, with no experience and professional artists amongst my students. My credo is: EVERYBODY NEEDS ART.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually talk to my students about their goals, expectations, desires and length of time students want to dedicate to a learning process. I look at the students works, pointing out areas of improvement and give some basic exersizes to evaluate the level, abilities and experience. Another important question is whether the student wants to do some specific, may be impressive projects or rather learn basic foundation principals, which is a longer process, but would be a good preparation for some higher level artistic challenges. I take individual approach considering age, background, experience, desires into my proposed plan for this student.
