I am a retired teacher so besides having been in the photography industy for 44 yrs I know how to teach.
i know both sides of the industry from the lab side & the shooting side.
I was a wedding photpgrapher for 39 years and have taught several classes in it.
I enjoy the actual going out and finding the places and things to photogragh. I also like fonding the things people walk by and miss.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically ask them to show me their camera and whatever other equipment they have and what kind of pictures they are interested taking. I like to see what they have shot and how they do it. I will show them different ways to do it or ways to inprove it or make it different.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Biology wih an emphasis on photomirophotography & close-up photography.
Worked for 4 wedding photographers 2 that taught it before I even did a wedding, for 39 years.
Several college coarses.
