I am Rob Ballard a commercial photographer located here in the valley. I specialize in portaits, food & beverage, and product photography. I have been shooting professionally for 8 years, and have be published in magazines such as Phoenix Magazine and Phoenix Home and Gardens. Over the years I have accomplish understand lighting and composition which are the bases to photography. My process is to understand the level and goals of each student before formulating a lesson plan.

I have a bachelors degree in photography
How did you get started teaching?
I statrted because of my love for interacting with people and love for photography.

I have worked with a wide range of students, from novice to experienced students. i have alos worked with seniors looking to learn something new.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The advice I would recommend is for the student to do their homework and make sure the teacher is qualified to teach them.
