A little bit about me...
I am a proud Michigan native and a graduate of The Ohio State University, holding a degree in Education with a major in Sports Industry. During my time at Ohio State, I excelled as a student-athlete, making significant contributions to our team's success in reaching the NCAA tournament and advancing to the Sweet Sixteen for two consecutive years. As a middle blocker, I played a pivotal role in our team's performance. I was also asked to join the USA collegiate national team. Where I trained on campus at Colorado Springs.
Prior to my time at Ohio State, I attended Middle Tennessee State University for three years, earning recognition as an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention during that period. Post-graduation, I pursued a professional volleyball career, playing in Denmark, Israel, Germany, and participating in a two-week tour in Japan.
My coaching journey includes stints at the freshman, JV, and Varsity levels in various high schools, where I imparted my knowledge and passion for the game. I have also dedicated several years to coaching camps, refining my ability to nurture talent at all skill levels.
If you're aspiring to elevate your game to the next level, I offer a comprehensive training system honed through years of playing at the highest levels and coaching diverse teams. My commitment is to provide personalized and effective training that brings out the best in every athlete. Let's embark on this journey together to unlock your full potential on and off the court!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first figure out what their current skills are, and build from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've competed in one of the toughest confrences in America, the Big Ten. After graduating from The Ohio State University, I played volleyball overseas. I've played in Japan, Denmark, Israel, and Germany. On top of my experiences, i've coached High school volleyball for the past 3 years, and I am also NASM certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing may vary depending on court fees.
How did you get started teaching?
Returning home from my last season abroad, I decided I didn't want to stop being around the game. I love the game of volleyball, I want to share my knowledge and experiences with others so I started teaching private lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with girls in middle school, all the way to teaching girls playing at the collegiate level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This past year I coached Varsity Volleyball at a High School, and was super proud of the girls we won our home tournament.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say, do your research, and if the teacher looks like they have a lot of knowledge about the game, that's an opportunity you shouldn't pass up!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Control what you can control. I think they should ask themselves, have I done everything on my end to help myself achieve whatever goal it is i'm trying to reach.
