What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start with a 45 minute lesson begining on a Tee so I am able to evaluate their swing and start from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been Coaching Baseball for 48 years. Coached a the Youth Club Ball level, High School, College and currently Manage a Professional Team in Wasco, CA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My normal fee is $30. If we meet more than once a week that fee is adjustable.
How did you get started teaching?
Evolved from Playing and Coaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
Both Male and Female from 6 to Professional level adults. Enjoy the all! I have Coached 28 Players that are or have Played in the Major Leagues. Also 26 guys that are or have Coached at the High School to Major League level
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The World Series. I had a previous Player on one of the Teams.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for verifiable Experience. If you don't feel improvement after 3 lessons, find a different Coach.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your short and long term goals. Will you Instructor come see you Play so he can see what you need to improve on.
