Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we speak to the parent and the student about what they are trying to work on, what they do well and what they need to improve on... then we put the student through a series of drills to test his fundamentals then go from there. We also like to play pick up games in order to further evaluate a player .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a sociology major , so I studied human behavior in order to be able to deal with different personalities because my plan always been to work with the the youth wether in sports or other areas of life. I’ve coached professional players , I’ve done international camps teaching the game and I’ve played at a high level myself...

clients have the choice to book a minimum of 5classes, or they can pay a monthly fee and train 2,3 or 4days per week. It depends on if the client prefers individual 1 on 1 training or group training, also depends on if the player would like to Be a member of our club team and participate in our AAU program.
How did you get started teaching?
As a professional player overseas, I used to run Basketball camps and clinics to give back to the communities that supported us. I had such a passion for it that I decided that I wanted to be a Coach after my playing career was over.

I’ve worked with overseas professional players, NBA players, college players, high school players, beginners....
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
itook my 10u team and my 15U team to Vegas and California for AAU tournaments . It was nice to see my players form a stronger bond while traveling and experience early how to stick together when adversity hits while you outside your comfort zone and all you can count on is your teammates.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research on a coach before hiring them. Make sure you ask questions about how they plan on helping you be the best version of yourself.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I believe the student should have the freedom to ask as many questions as they please without hesitation, because it shows their willingness to learn, at the same time it means they are comfortable with you as a coach. So yea we encourage everyone to ask questions.
